Moonshiner is a triangular shawl knit from the top down featuring a repeating pattern of lace with bobbles and just a little bit of colorwork (using both stranded and slipped stitches) . A graphic grid border design worked in an easy slip stitch pattern and clean i-cord edge helps to balance the delicate lace in a way that really appeals to me.

I was inspired by the colors of Alaska in the fall- it is so moody and beautiful and Candice at the Farmer’s Daughter Fibers perfectly captured the mood with her Recollect in the colors Sunny’s and Salmonberry. This sport weight yarn is really lovely to work with, and I can’t wait to cozy up with this shawl through all of the chilly months ahead. Please check out the stunning kits Candice put together over on her website!
