Monty is a super simple mouse toy made from a square of plain knitting. Stuff it with catnip for a great cat toy or polyester fiber fill for a kid’s stocking stuffer. (Berroco)

MATERIALS

For A – BERROCO KELTIC (50 grs),
1 Ball #5863 Galloway

For B – BERROCO CHINCHILLA (50 grs),
1 Ball #5520 Persimmon

For C - BERROCO FOLIAGE (50 grs),
1 Ball #5989 Walnut

Small amount of BERROCO ULTRA ALPACA (100 grs) or scrap yarn in contrasting shade for ears, nose, tail and eyes.

Straight knitting needles, size 9
Crochet hook, size 5.00 mm (H)
Small amount contrasting yarn for ears, nose, tail and eyes
Small amount polyfil
Tapestry needle

Warning: If Monty is made for your cat, we would suggest eliminating the yarn tail since it could potentially be ingested.
