A monkey lovey also know as a security blanket. The little ones love them. They love to put their little fingers in the holes of the blanket. Monkey lovey is big enough to cuddle with and small enough to drag around without dragging on the floor.
The pattern is easy and fun to make and works up fast using worsted weight yarn. There are photos to help you along with placement of the parts as well as photos to help you with placing the eyebrows, nose and mouth. I used 12 mm safety eyes but some people like to embroider the eyes. Either way will look sweet.
