Monica Mitts
Yardage is for each colour.
A snug fitting pair of cosy fingerless mitts. The stranded nature of the pattern gives a double thickness to the fabric, however as the yarn is so light they do not feel bulky or heavy. You can knit two identical mitts – or be adventurous and reverse the colours! As written the pattern will fit snugly on an 8” / 20cm hand (measured not including the thumb). For a larger size you can use a 2.75mm needle. The pattern is written for Magic Loop method but you may prefer two circs or DPNs.
I have named these mitts after my late mother-in-law who showed me how to knit with more than one colour at a time.
