Momo Sweater
This pattern is
available for free.
This knitted sweater is cropped with extra-long sleeves. The Momo sweater is made in our Durable Furry yarn, making it a real statement piece for this autumn. Since the 12 colors of Furry are easily to combine, you can make many combinations for your own favorite sweater
About this sweater:
- Always make a gauge swatch for clothing before you start to check the knitting tension. By doing this you know that you are knitting at a similar tension as the designer and that your garment will be the correct size;
- Construction of the sweater: You start the sweater by knitting the back panel and will knit the back panel in rows until you’ve reached the desired length for the arm opening. Next, you will pick up stitches for the front panel from the shoulder seam. The front panel is also knitted in rows, until you’ve reached the desired length for the arm opening at the front as well. From this point onwards, you’ll start knitting the body in the round. After finishing the body, you will pick up stitches for the sleeves from the arm opening and knit the sleeves in the round;
- For this sweater, the pattern is described in several sizes as follows: XS (S, M, L, XL, 2XL). When only one direction is described, this applies to all sizes. It may help to mark the directions for your size with a marker to make it easier to follow the pattern as you knit;
- Yarn consumption with Furry yarns: Furry is a bit irregular. This means that the fur in one ball is slightly thicker than the other and that you could therefore use the yarn slightly differently than the designer and testers of this pattern. That is why it is possible that you use more or less yarn than indicated here.
- Yarn needed: Durable Furry, 100% polyester, 50g/35m/38yd. Yarn A: 2239, Brick 4 (4, 4, 4, 5, 5) balls Yarn B: 225, Vintage Pink 4 (4, 4, 4, 5, 5) balls Yarn C: 414, Anemone 4 (4, 5, 5, 5, 6) balls
