Sizing Note: Finished bust measurements allow for about 15 in. (38 cm) of positive ease in the Jacket. This amount of ease is part of the style of the Jacket, and also accommodates the thickness of the fabric created with a strand each of A and B.

Knitting Needles- Size 9
Circular Knitting Needles Size 11, 36” long
Circular Knitting Needles Size 13, 36” long
Metal 2-way separating zipper, 31 (31 1/2,
32, 32 1/2, 33, 33 1/2) in.

GAUGE:
11 sts + 15 rows = 4 in. in Rev St st with size 13 needles and with 1 strand of A and B held together.
16 sts + 17 rows = 4 in. in K1, p1 Rib, unstretched, with size 11 needles and with 1 strand of A only.

NOTES:

1. Jacket is worked in 7 pieces, Back, 2 Fronts, 2 Sleeves and 2 Pocket Linings.
2. Ribbing and Sleeves are worked with 1 strand of A. Fronts and Back are worked with 1 strand each of A and B held together.
3. Circular needles are used to accommodate the number of sts. Work back and forth on circular needle as if working on straight needles.
4. Pockets are worked separately with C, then sewn into slit openings on each Front.
5. A is used to work across entire row of Fronts and Back. B is joined in just for body section, leaving Frontband in A only.
6. Fronts are divided to create a slit for pocket.
