I came up with this little lovey to match my Modern Baby Granny Blanket with the extra yarn that was left over. I think babies need a blankie that is small enough for them to hold and cuddle.

I used smaller blocks than the original to downsize the pattern. I wanted to show the versitility of this design. The simple join-as-you-go method with have you hooked on this style. For this design, I used Bernat Super Value yarn in Magenta, Yellow, Soft Grey, White and Baby Pink. But this would be super to use up your scrap yarns too!
