The vest is worked in rounds starting at the center back from a charted pattern, using different hook sizes to achieve different garment sizes.
Its overall shape is a large circle with slits for armholes. Armholes are located 52 (56) cm from the center out and are 19 cm long. After the armholes, there are 31 (33) cm of fabric more to the outer edge of the vest.

Gauge is crucial for correct fit.
Gauge in pattern worked in the round:
for German size 34-38, using hook 4.0-4.5 mm: After 10 rnds, Ø approx. 19 cm
for German size 40/42, using hook 4.5-5.0 mm: After 10 rnds, Ø approx. 21 cm

This project should be worked not too loosely.

The finished vest has a back length of 75 cm.
