There is a difference between the pattern as written and the cardigan shown in the picture: While in the written pattern, fronts and sleeves have no purl stitches between the diamond and the two knit stitches, the picture clearly shows two purl stitches on each side of the diamond pattern. So, if somebody would like a little more ease (the pattern comes in very small sizes), you could add four stitches to each front and to each sleeve. The back already contains these stitches.
