NOTE: this pattern is a warm up pattern in the Sock Madness Forever 2021, and will be available to the public from July 1st ‘21 when the competition is over!

This pattern is available in English, Norwegian and Danish.

It is written for double pointed needles especially, but clearly it can be worked with Magic Loop instead. If that is the case, please use stitch markers to indicate the different divisions of the sock (the pattern uses the needles to indicate top/bottom etc.)

Also note that the cable braids differently, depending on if it is the right or the left sock. Both are charted.

These socks have a nice folded down cuff, which is knitted in place as you go along. If you don’t feel up to that, you can easily sew the folded edge in place afterwards. Please use a stretchy seam, if that is the case.

YARN. I have used a rather ‘busy’ variegated skein of my own Silver Sparkle Sock. Some might like to use a more semi-solid or solid colourway, to show off the pretty lace pattern.
