These booties are simple to make but look fab! The cable look is achieved with a purl stitch followed by a knit 2 together, then knit into the same stitch again. Below this folded mock cable cuff is a rib cuff so that it sits neatly against little legs, keeping out the cold. The rest of the bootie is garter stitch, the sole being worked in stripes to add a little extra interest. They would also look good knitted in a single colour.
