I’ve created this step by step written pattern- complete with photos, tips, tricks and helpful links- 7 info packed pages, images of the pieces created, and links to basics and stitches.

American Terms
Difficulty: Comfortable Beginner

Comfortable with rows and round changes, increasing and decreasing, single crochet, increases, decreases and skipped stitches.

Yarns I used:
I used Lion Brand Pound of Love medium weight yarn, however you can use any size you desire, just adjust your hook to ensure there are no gaps in your stitches. The bigger the weight the larger the result will be.

***** A NOTE ON YARNS*****

Almost all of the yarns I use in my stash has been given to me, so they vary widely. However I suggest the same weight, and if possible the same brand if you are buying new skeins, of at least 3.5 oz of each color. This ensures that each piece will match in size and shape as “medium weight” can vary from brand to brand.

Colors needed for pieces: I use one color but use what inspires you!

Recommended Hook size: 3.25 mm (used in pattern) or 3.5 mm- if you have gaps in the stitches I suggest going a hook size smaller.

Fiber filling
Scissors
Crochet hook
12 mm safety eyes
Scrap yarn or stitch markers

Some pieces are worked in the round and some worked flat. Each piece is noted before you begin.
