I have been making these Mittz for many years, and have shared it with family and friends, and I hope you will also find them a great project to make, gift, and to have. Mittz are made using sock/fingering weight yarn held double on size 4/3.5mm double pointed needles (or a 40” circular if knitting magic loop). The top of the mitt is knit with two strands of lace weight mohair held together with one strand of your sock/fingering yarn. If using Mechita from Malabrigo, you will have enough to make two pairs! There are photos included of stash busting options; reach out if you want to know the yarns used or general guidance on how to blend your shades to get a nice fade effect.
