Mittens
Six different sizes with different yarn and hooks.
Infant = 1/2 ounce baby yarn, size 5 steel hook (1.90mm)
Sizes 2, 4, and 6 mittens are made of sport yarn, about one ounce is needed for each pair; use size 5 bone hook for making size 2 mittens, size 2 and 3 bone hooks respectively for size 4 and 6 mitts.
Size 8 is made from one ounce of Germantown yarn and a size 4 bone crochet hook.
About 2 ounces of knitting worsted and a size 4 bone crochet hook may be used for making a size 12 mitten.
A small amount of contrast is needed for each pair.
