Mitered Triangles
I wanted to construct the familiar sock shape without having to decrease for a toe, without having to turn a heel, without having to knit tin the round, and without having to do any of the things “traditional” sock patterns require. Then, I thought of tempting knitters with color and introducing them to toes and heels shaped with triangles.
Each sock is made up of panels joined with garter ridges connected by a three-needle bind-off. Each panel is made up of a series of left- and right-leaning triangles.
