The doll is about 7cm height, pumpkin is 2.5cm (small), 5cm (large). The doll does not have arms.
The broom is made with a cocktail stick and yarn. If you are giving it to a small child, please omit the broom.
The pattern is knitted flat and sewn up at the end.
Materials
• 8g black DK (8-ply)
• Small amounts of peach, orange, green, dark brown DK (less than 5g)
• Small amounts of fine honey yellow, pink, orange 4-ply
• Stuffing
• For the broom, fine light brown and brown yarn, a cocktail stick, liquid glue
Tools
• A pair of 2.75mm (US2) DPN knitting needles DPNs are to work i-cord, all parts are knitted flat and sewn up at the end.
• Chenille needle or tapestry needle with a fairly sharp point
• small stitch holder
If you are new to toy knitting and find it difficult to knit DK yarn with fine needles, please use larger needles.
Tension does not matter much for this project.
Knitting skill is basic knit, purl, k2tog, kfb (knit into the front loop and back loop to increase a stitch).
