MinMax scarf is knitted sideways back and forth in one piece, from tip to tip in easy lace pattern with built-in I-cord edges. The pattern has instructions for both fingering and worsted / bulky weight yarns and has charts for both versions.

To maximise yarn usage and minimize leftovers weigh your yarn at the beginning and after increases. Keep at least this amount to be able to work the decrease section.

Version 1: MIN

Yarn: WoolWomen Merlino single (90% Merino, 10% Linen, 366 m / 400 yds per 100 g), or any other fingering weight yarn that knits to the gauge. The sample scarf was knitted with colourway Lazy Sunday and used 46 g.

Gauge: 25 sts x 28 rows in pattern after blocking

Size: approximately 11 cm / 4.25 inches wide, 130 cm / 51.25 inches long

Needle: 3.75 mm / US 5 (80 cm/ 32 inches or longer) circular needle or size to obtain gauge

Version 2: MAX

WoolWomen Fluff Mohair (76 % Mohair, 15 % Merino, 9 % Nylon; 200 m/ 219 yds per 100 g) or any other worsted / bulky weight yarn that knits to gauge. A good alternatives are Isager Soft or Drops Air. The sample scarf was knitted with colourway Riks Raks Poks and used 170 g.

Gauge: 10 sts x 16 rows in pattern after blocking

Size: approximately 33 cm / 13 inches wide, 210 cm / 82.75 inches long

Needle: 6 mm / US 10 (80 cm/ 32 inches or longer) circular needle or size to obtain gauge

Notions: 2 markers, tapestry needle for weaving in ends, blocking equipment
