This is a small, cute, useful pouch with a fabric lining and a handy zipper. It has a beautiful design on the outside that looks complex, but is fairly simple to crochet. Sewing in the fabric lining and zipper requires some basic sewing skills.

Many photos are included to walk you through the pattern, including instructions on sewing.

Materials Needed:

Crocheting tools:
• Weight 4, 100% cotton yarn in any color (I used “I Love This Cotton” from Hobby Lobby)
• Size G (4.25 mm) crochet hook
• Stitch Markers
• Yarn needle
• Scissors

Sewing tools:
• 7” zipper (a little longer is fine)
• Fat quarter of 100% cotton fabric
• Needle & thread of similar color as yarn
• Sewing machine (optional)
• Rotary Cutter, ruler & mat, or fabric scissors, ruler & pencil

About the Yarn - Feel free to experiment with other types of yarn.

Finished Size:
Approx 6” x 1.75” x 3.25” when standing up on its base and
approx 6.5” x 4” when laying flat.

Gauge:
4” x 4” = 18 st x 18 rows of sc
