If you are like me, you do not like having a lot of weight to carry around. That’s why I love the mini pocket bacs from Bath and Body Works. They smell amazing and are big enough to get the job done without weighing you down. I created 2 versions for their hand sanitizers. I used crochet thread on one, and a size 4 weight on the other. They make great gifts and are a very quick and easy make!

Supplies Needed:
-25-50 yards of 100% cotton crochet thread size 3, or of 100% cotton worsted weight size 4.
-Size E 4 3.5 mm and size F 3.75 mm hooks, or size(s) needed to obtain gauge
-18 mm Lobster Clasp
-Embellishments of your choice (Optional. I used charms from the bead aisle at my local craft store to attach to the front)
-You may also want to have a Pocket Bac handy so you can try your sling on for size every couple of rounds.
-Scissors, stitch marker, yarn needle, tape measure

Special Stitches:
Place Charm: Place charm flush against hook. Complete st as usual. NOTE: You will add your lobster claw in the same fashion as the charm.

Gauge:
6 sts and 7 rows = 2 cm for crochet thread version.
4 sts and 5 rows = 2 cm for worsted weight version.

Finished Measurements:
Both measurements were taken with the sanitizer slings empty and laying flat.
Crochet thread version: 2.5” x 1.75” (6.5 x 4.5 cm)
Worsted weight version: 2.5” x 2” (6.5 x 5 cm)
