Mini Mood Scarf
The Mini Mood Scarf is a small, ridged scarf that’s simple to knit and endlessly wearable. Worked in a textured stitch using only knits and purls, it features gentle increases along the sides and an elegant I-cord edge that gives it a polished, modern finish.
Whether you’re tying it snug for chilly days or styling it as a decorative touch, this scarf brings just the right amount of cozy charm. It’s the perfect one-skein project to match your mood—or change it.
Finished measurements:
Length from tip to tip: Approx. 111 cm / 44”.

Gauge:
21 sts x 30 rows/rnds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” in Sample stitch on 4 mm / US 6 needles flat, after blocking.
Note: Since this is an accessory, getting the exact gauge isn’t critical. A slight variation won’t make a huge difference!

Notions:
Tapestry needle to weave in the end, stitch markers (optional)
Suggested yarn:
The scarf can be worked with a strand of DK weight yarn, or by holding two strands of lace or fingering weight yarn together. You need approx.:

or
220 m of lace or fingering weight yarn (in total, the yarn will be held double).
Sample knitted with yarn:
Lavender
50 gr of Drops Cotton Merino (50% Cotton, 50% Merino) by Drops Design
DIRECTIONS
The scarf is worked flat from tip to tip. The scarf is shaped by working increases along the right side edge until half the total length of the scarf, and then decreasing along the right edge for the second half. The scarf has an I-cord edge which is worked along the edges of the entire scarf.
