The Mindfully Mindless Cowl is a reversible, double layer cowl that is knit all in one piece. Knit this cozy number with a pairing of complementary colors, a handful of fun colors or simply knit it in your favorite color. This pattern includes 2 versions of the cowl, but making it your own is highly encouraged! This Mindfully Mindless Cowl is just that… Mindful, thanks to its seamless construction and periodic increases and decreases and mindless thanks to its no fuss stockinette stitch.

YARN:
Dimond Laine Percy, 100% Cashmere, 190 yards/50 grams or similar Sport or DK weight yarn

Version 1 Colors: Cashmere Woods (MC) 2 skeins or approx 370 yds, Cocoon (CC) 2 skeins or approx 360 yds

Version 2 Colors: Base Camp (MC) 3 skeins or approx 525 yds, Downy (CC1) 1 skein or approx 65 yds, Bakelight (CC2) 1 skein or approx 78 yds, Taffy (CC3) 1 skein or approx 92 yds, Chalet Chic (CC4) 1 skein or approx 104 yds, Plaid is My Fave (CC5) 1 skein or approx 118 yds

GAUGE:
22 stitches x 36 rows = 4 inches in Stockinette stitch in the round, blocked

SIZES/FINISHED DIMENSIONS:
One Size
20.5” (top) and 31.5” (bottom) width when laid flat/ 16.5” tall

NEEDLES:
US 3/3.25mm 24” cm circular needle AND
an additional circular needle of the
same size and circumference
OR size/s needed to obtain gauge

NECESSARY NOTIONS:
Waste yarn, tapestry needle, 6 stitch markers (1 of with should be a unique beginning of round marker) and 2 locking stitch markers
