INTRODUCTION
A long rectangular wrap, based on the wooden carvings of the majestic Minbar of Saladin (pulpit) which sits within the Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.
The entire minbar is covered in intricate carvings, and this wrap picks out a section which features a six-pointed star containing a hexagonal shape within.
The crochet motif has been composed from an Islamic geometric drawing of the section, originally designed by geometer Samira Mian.

Designed using a variety of mini skeins, the wrap can be made using or 22 x 20g mini skeins or a total of 440g of yarn colours of your choice.

The wrap is worked end-to-end, so you will be working the rows along the entire length of the scarf. The pattern uses fingering weight / 4-ply yarn.
