Mimosa socks
Mimosa socks is an easy pattern for a pair of cozy socks. They are knitted toe up with circular needles. This pattern features an ergonomic toe cup for a better fit. Mimosa socks are worked with the ‘fleegle heel’ technique which only involves increases and decreases for the heel. They also include a tiny flowery detail on the leg, made with popcorn stitches. This pattern has links to videos for these special techniques and is very easy to follow both for beginners and well experienced knitters.

Foot circumference: 18 (21, 23) cm
Finished measurements (blocked): 16 (18.75, 21.5) cm
Yarn:
Moorland mohair de Erika Knight (100 gr - 420 m), shown in color: “mendip yellow” or
Tukuwool Fingering (100gr, 370m), shown in colors: “Letho” and “Ujo”
Gauge: 32 sts in stockinette st knitted in the round = 10 cm
Recommended needle size:
2.5 mm (adjust needle if needed to obtain gauge) with 80 cm cable for magic loop technique
or double pointed needles
+ 2 mm for ribbing
Mimosa socks es un patrón para tejer un par de calcetines sencillos a dos agujas. Se tejen desde la puntera hasta la caña, con talón ‘fleegle heel”, que es muy fácil porque sólo lleva aumentos y disminuciones. También incluye puntera ergonómica para mayor comodidad. Y por último en la caña lleva un pequeño motivo decorativo de mimosas, para el que se incluye un vídeo-tutorial de los bodoques. Por su sencillez, este patrón es totalmente apto para tejedoras principiantes que quieran aprender a tejer sus primeros calcetines.
