Millie Meo Cardigan
This sweater is knit top down, the round yoke shaping gives this design a classic look. Version 1 is made in Lune: a a black and white marled color for the body and trimed in black for an updated modern look. Version 2 plays with texture and color by combining Moondrake’ s Fuwa Fuwa and Spincycle Yarns Dyed in the wool. Have fun experimenting with color and texture for your Millie Meo Cardigan.
This sweater was originally inspired by little Meo, Julie Asselin’s sweet chihuaha mix. In time, it became a sweet homage to the our beloved family members that we lost recently like my sweet Chulita and my sisters’ Oreo. And it is also a reminder that we can love again and new family members will join us like Millie.
