Yarn
Anzula Gerty (100% American Targhee; 390 yd 357 m / 4 oz 114 g): Charcoal (MC), Frankie (CC), 1 skein each.
Needles
Size 2 (2.75 mm): 16” circular (cir) and Size 4 (3.5 mm): 16” circ and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Gauge
32 sts and 52 rounds = 4” in Miki Chart, worked in the round, blocked.
Notes
• The hat is knit from the bottom up, in the round.
• The hat needs approximately 180 yds of each color. You can make a second hat with the rest of the yarn.
• The easy slip stitch/mosaic pattern has you knitting only one color at a time.
• If you would like to substitute yarns, I would suggest a Sport weight. Gerty is a very round and lofty yarn and plumps out quite a bit after washing. It knits up more like Sport weight.
