This cowl has very quickly become one of my absolute favourite accessories. I absolutely love the texture created by the stitch combination, and a cowl is always the perfect option for walks in the breezy winter chill.

The pattern itself is great for beginners. It is knitted in the round and just uses a combination of knit and purl stitches. I found that I easily memorised the repeat and so was able to watch TV and work on this at the same time with great ease. If you have never knitted in the round before, this will be the perfect project to give it a try!

It was knitted in Stylecraft Yarns Special 4-ply (100% premium acrylic) in colourway Parchment 1218.
