‘Midsummer’ is the short sleeve jumper that you can knit from the yarn quantities that are too small for a long sleeve version. Whether you choose two colours, several or just one, it’s up to you.

The jumper is knitted from the top down. The shoulders are shaped with short rows and get stability from the
ICord as shoulder seam. The back and front are first knitted separately, later joined and knitted in rounds up to the waistband. Then the sleeves are added and finally the neckline.

Needles
3.0 mm (US 2.5) 80 cm (32”) circular needle for body and ribbing.
3.0 mm (US 2.5) DPNs for sleeves.
3.5 mm (US 4) DPNs for ICord cast on.

Gauge
25 sts x 40 rows = 10x10 cm (4x4”) in Stockinette stitch after blocking.

„Midsummer“ ist der Kurzarmpullover, den du aus den Garnmengen stricken kannst, die für eine Langarmversion zu wenig sind. Ob zwei Farben, mehrere oder doch nur in einer, es ist ganz deine Entscheidung.
Der Pullover wird von oben nach unten gestrickt. Die Schultern werden mit verkürzten Reihen geformt und bekommen durch die I-Cord Schnur als Schulternaht Stabilität. Rücken und Vorderteil werden zuerst getrennt gestrickt, später verbunden und in Runden bis zum Bund gestrickt. Danach werden die Ärmel angestrickt und zum Schluss der Halsausschnitt eingefasst.
