The Midnight Walk socks – a little love project from both of us

We – Melanie Berg and Tanja Steinbach – teamed up to bring you something special: a free sock pattern that pairs perfectly with Melanie’s Midnight Drive sweater. Two designers, one shared idea — to gift you a cozy, joyful project.

The Midnight Walk Socks echo the textured motif from the Midnight Drive cuff, giving them a gentle rhythm and modern charm. Soft, comforting, and perfect for everyday wear, they’re just right for quiet evenings on the couch or relaxed walks outside.

The pattern includes instructions for both classic 4-ply sock yarn and a warm, snug 6-ply version. Depending on which yarn you choose, you’ll work with needles between 2 mm and 3.5 mm.

You’ll need basic sock-knitting knowledge. The steps are clear and easy to follow, but a little experience helps keep things smooth and enjoyable.
