This tight fitted blouse is worked top-down. It will be an elegant blouse in your wardrobe.
We begin with the turtle-neck neckband. From there we build out with increases in saddle shoulders and rib pattern. You do not have to read and understand this pattern before you begin. Read no further than to the next full stops in the text. And then knit that bit. Then you will go safe. But stitch markers are an important tool in this pattern and necessary to keep hold on the different sections of the pattern.
TIP
In this pattern we use markers with numbers on. It makes the work so much more fun.

Gauge in stocking sts. We measure the gauge in stocking sts, as gauge in rib pattern is difficult to measure correctly.
27 sts and 38 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches
Swatch Using needle 3.5 mm (US 4) CO 37 sts. Work the swatch in stocking sts. K3 sts in the beginning and the end of each row. Then you get a nice swatch easy to measure.
Make sure the center 27 sts = 10 cm / 4”.
