A whiz to knit, these mitts are great for those new to thrums. They are cozy, fast, and take just about 150 yards of yarn and about 200 thrums.

These cozy mittens are worked on DPNs with a 3 inch cuff and thrums up the body and thumb of the mitten. The pattern is quite simple (once you get the hang of thrums) and rows and sts can be easily added or removed to adjust the size.

The mittens depicted were knit with handspun wool dyed with coffee and remnant alpaca that didn’t make the cut for spinning.
