This beanie is worked in the round using cables in a contrasting color to form the grass stems. The mice and flowers are knitted separately and attached with minimal sewing.

Instructions are given for head sizes 20” (51 cm), 21” (53 cm), 22” (56 cm), and 23” (58 cm)
These correspond to extra-small, small, medium and large adult sizes.

This is an experienced level pattern.

For the hat (MC): fingering weight yarn.

For the hat band (MC or CC): fingering weight yarn.

For the grass (CC): fingering weight used doubled
