Metaphysics Sweater
PATTERN STORY
This sweater is inspired by the work of Tomas Castro Neves. Specifically, his Idea of Man series - Metaphysics. I’ve been obsessing on the idea of a harlequin intarsia sweater for a while, and when I saw the painting, it all came together in my mind.
SKILLS NEEDED
Italian Tubular cast on, increasing stitches, decreasing stitches, picking up stitches, intarsia knitting and seaming.
The pattern is appropriate for an advanced knitter.
GARMENT CONSTRUCTION
Sleeves, back and front pieces are knit separately, then seamed together. The collar is then added.
