Merry Christmas Throw
Level 2-Advanced (angle stitches)
Looking for a festive and fun crochet project this holiday season? This Merry Christmas mosaic crochet blanket pattern is the perfect choice!
This mosaic crochet pattern is an advanced skill level and is recommended for crocheters with experience in mosaic overlay crochet. Detailed instructions, photos, and video tutorials will guide you through each step of the project. With a little bit of patience and practice, you’ll be a pro in no time!
If you are new to angle stitches, I highly recommend trying them first with this free Heart Mug Rug pattern. https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/heart-mug-rug-2 This small 7”x 7” project is a great introduction to my angle notation system and includes my full stitch key.
This pattern was originally charted and written for two contrasting colors. I have updated the pattern with instructions for adding an optional 3rd color for the words and snowflake. The photos of the pattern testers show 3 colors using the tapestry color change technique. I have video tutorials available if you would like to use more than 2 colors.
Written for Mosaic Overlay Crochet, this pattern includes:
• Charts
• Written Pattern
• Detailed Instructions packet
• Stitch Key
• Photo tutorials
• Video tutorials for each type of stitch used in the pattern

This pattern is divided into 6 sections (5 pages each) and is worked from the bottom up. I would suggest using the Knit Companion app (my personal preference as it is brilliant and saves on printer ink and paper), but I have also included layout instructions for the charts if you prefer to print out your pages. The written pattern sections correlate with the charts so they can be used together. I have also included a full chart on one page for those who wish to use Knit Companion (or similar technology) without all the page breaks.
Special thanks to Susan Morgan for testing this pattern.
