These socks define merrily. Easy, festive, lighthearted. With an easy-to-memorize 8 round repeat, these socks will merrily fly off the needles!

Instructions are written for a cuff-down sock. However, they can easily be modified to a toe-up pattern. Sizes are provided for either a fingering weight yarn or a sport/dk weight yarn. Chart is provided on the last page.

Sport weight size has a gauge of 28 sts = 4” over st st, using a suggested needle size of US 2.5 (3.00 mm). Sport size needs ~250 yards of sport weight yarn.
