MERIS is a wonderfully light, modern summer tee with a beautiful drape. Made from a gorgeous linen and silk blend, it feels soft against the skin and is a joy to wear in warm weather.

Designed as a compound raglan with short-row shaping at the neckline, it offers a great fit across all sizes. Delicate eyelet detailing along the raglan lines adds a touch of whimsy and romance to this otherwise simplistic, everyday garment.

MERIS is worked seamlessly from the top down. First, you cast on stitches for the neckband and shape the neckline with short rows. Next, you work a raglan yoke and split for the body and sleeves, casting on a few extra stitches at the underarm for an ideal fit. Finally, the body and sleeves are worked in the round.

MERIS is a true wardrobe staple and a great pattern for adventurous beginner knitters. I hope you’ll love your MERIS tee just as much as I love mine! Happy knitting!
