These Merino socks are exceptionally warm. They are knitted using 100% natural merino wool (50 g / 415 m per skein). The socks are worked with two strands held together on 3 mm needles.

The pattern uses charts for the front and back of the leg/foot. The socks are designed to be worn with negative ease. Choose a size with a finished foot circumference approximately 1 in / 2.5 cm smaller than your actual foot circumference for a snug, comfortable fit.

Materials:

  • 2 skeins of natural merino wool 50g/ 415 m each
  • 3 mm (US2.5) needles

Finished Measurements:
Woman’s Small (Medium, Large)
Foot circumference = 7.5 (8, 8.5) inches/ 19, 20, 21 cm
Foot length = 8.8 ( 9, 9.7)inches/ 22.5, 23.5, 24.5 cm

Gauge: 10 x 10 cm/ 4’’ x 4’’ inch 30 stitches and 38 rounds using
3 mm needles and 2 strands wool held together
