Mens 1930s Swimming Trunks
These stylish mens trunks have appeared regularly in knitting books in the 1930s and 1940s, never changing other than the photograph to promote them. They were knitted in pure Shetland wool doubled on a very small needle to create an extremely firm fabric. There is a knitted gusset for extra room for movement and the trunks are held up with a belt and numerous belt loops. It is recommended that the belt is backed to prevent it from stretching.
Please note: Yarn is used double throughout
