Happy to introduce this warm and cozy set of winter accessories: Menara Hat&Cowl. Knitted with worsted weight yarn, this set will be great gift for your loved ones or for yourself!
If you have in your stash a skein of crazy-variegated worsted yarn and don’t know what to do with it, here is the solution:).

Finished Measurements:
Hat:
20”/51 cm brim circumference.
8”/20 cm height from base of ribbing to top-center of crown.
Measurements taken after blocking.
Fits average adult head sizes 20-22”/51-56 cm.

Cowl:
24”/61 cm circumference.
9.5”/24 cm height.
Measurements taken after blocking.

Gauge
24 sts and 26 rounds = 4”/10 cm on size US 7/4.5 mm
needles over colorwork pattern after blocking.

Tools
Size US 6 (4 mm) and size 7 (4.5 mm) circular (circ) needles 16”/40 cm long, or size to obtain gauge
One set of double pointed needles (DPNs) (hat only) size US 7 (4.5 mm).
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge.
1 marker, tapestry needle.


Materials:
180 yds/ 162 m (hat) and 250 yds/ 225 m (cowl) of worsted weight yarn

Main Color (MC; shown white): approx. 90 yds/81 m for hat and 150 yds/135 m for cowl.
