This cable-knit beanie features the same textured stitch elements as the Memory Lane series. The sculptural cables create medallion-like motifs that give the design a timeless, almost heirloom feel. It’s a cozy accessory that wraps warmth—and memories—around you, stitch by stitch.

The Memory Lane Beanie is worked from the bottom up. The hat is worked first with a ribbed brim for a comfortable fit, followed by the cable pattern worked according to a chart or written instructions. The final size of the beanie depends on the needle size and yarn weight used: the smallest size fits a child or young adult with head circumference around 48 cm/19”, size 2 fits head circumference 53 cm/20.75”, and size 3 fits head circumference 56/22”. Sizes 1–2 can be knitted with a single strand of fingering or sport-weight yarn held together with one strand of silk mohair, while size 3 is worked with two strands of Setasuri or silk mohair held together with one strand of sport-weight yarn. By adjusting your yarn choices, you can create a beanie that fits well and feels light and airy or richly warm and cozy.

Memory Lane Beanie neulotaan alhaalta ylös. Ensin neulotaan joustinneuleinen reunus, joka antaa pipolle hyvän istuvuuden, ja sen jälkeen siirrytään palmikkokuvioihin kaavion mukaan.
Pipon koko muotoutuu valittujen puikkojen ja langan paksuuden perusteella: pienin koko sopii hyvin lapselle tai nuorelle, koko 2 vastaa noin XS-kokoa ja koko 3 S/M-kokoa. Koot 1–2 voidaan neuloa yhdellä säikeellä fingering- tai sport-vahvuista lankaa yhdessä silkkimohairin kanssa, kun taas koon 3 pipo neulotaan kahdella säikeellä Setasuria tai silkkimohairia yhdessä sport-vahvuisen langan kanssa.
