Mélange à trois is a fun shawl to knit that plays with the soft neutral colors of Sabri, Illimani’s newest yarn which is a lovely blend of organic cotton and baby alpaca. This shawl is a carefree knit with the subtle detail of a bobble bind off.
While Spring is timid this year with all the Nor’easters, I have visions of wearing my Mélange à trois shawl sitting on the terrace of our local brewery or better yet the campfire at home.

Materials: 3 skeins of Sabri from Illimani yarns, or 3 skeins of light fingering weight yarn (Color A: Bone, approx. 200 yards, Color B: Light Grey, approx. 380 yards, Color C: Grey, approx. 350 yards
Needle: Circular needle Size 8 US – 5.00 mm

Gauge: 4.50 sts = 1 inch after blocking
Size: Approx 80” wide X 28” deep, easily customizable

Mélange à trois est un châle amusant à tricoter qui joue avec les couleurs neutres de Sabri, la nouvelle laine d’Illimani Yarn, qui est un belle mélange de coton bio avec du bébé alpaga. Ce châle est un tricot sans souci avec le détail subtil des nopes à la fin.
Le printemps est timide cette annéee mais je me vois porter ce châle sur la terrasse de notre micro-brasserie locale ou encore mieux autour du feu camp chez nous.
