A collaboration with Nim Teasdale - a delicate lace shawl designed by Nim during her European travels based on my original MagicWaves pattern.

The coloring and lace pattern are reminiscent of Mediterranean waves and fountains in bright sunshine, and the kaleidoscopic mirroring of the ripples creates echoes of Moorish architectural details and the stylized tulips on Turkish ceramics.
The shape is a semi-octagon.

The sample shawl was knit on 3.75mm/US5 needles with 530m/580yds of Vivid Fiber Arts Lux Birdsong.
Dimensions: 190 x 90cm (75 x 35in) after blocking.

Sizing is adaptable to any yardage of lace to fingering weight yarn.
Gauge and needles will vary with yarn weight.
