Thorpeness on the Suffolk coast is a delightful village with a large shallow meare that is great for boating or to just sit back and watch the nature swim, paddle or fly past you.

The Meare hat is knit in the round and features four cables that run from the brim up to the interesting crown.

Pattern has both written and charted instructions.
