The cardigan is knitted from top down seamlessly. You will begin with the neck. You will begin with the rib neckline, then you will do a set of increase to shaping the body, including a cables pattern. Then you divided the body and the sleeves, finally you will knit the body flat to the end. The sleeves will be knitted in the round at the end.

Yarn: approximately 1205 (1315, 1425, 1450)1750, 1970, 1970 yards; 1100 (1200, 1300, 1450) 1600, 1800, 1800 meters of fingering yarn or other yarn to obtain gauge. The sample was knitted in size S using Backewell by Maison Corlène – 100% bluefaced Leicester SW – 438 yards; 400 meters/100 gr. – colorway Terence.
Needles: US2½ and US4; 3.5 mm and 3.00 mm circular needles and DPNS.
Others: stitch markers, waste yarn, cable needles, tapestry needle for weaving in ends, 7 or 8 buttons 0.8 inch; 2 cm diameter.
Gauge: reverse stockinette stitch: 26 sts and 30 rows for 4 inches; 10 cm with US4; 3.50 mm circular needles, after block.

Ce gilet est tricoté de haut en bas sans couture. Vous commencerez par l’encolure en côtes, puis vous ferez des séries d’augmentations pour former le haut du corps, en incluant un motif de torsade. Puis vous séparerez le corps et les manches, enfin vous tricoterez le corps en aller-retour jusqu’à la fin. Les manches seront tricotées en rond.

Echantillon : jersey envers : 26 mailles et 30 rangs pour 10 cm, aiguilles 3.50 mm, après blocage.
