The mazurka is a popular European folk dance in 3-time with a playful, offbeat groove. When I made the Mazurka jumper, I worked repeating bands of 3 colours with slip-stitch cables to add interest and interrupt the rhythm. It’s not hard to see why it made me think of the dance!

The construction starts with a circular yoke, from the top-down, and ends with a relaxed split hem. In this design, I have included optional bust shaping to improve the fit.

See images for schematic and size charts.

This adult sized jumper is designed to be worn with a relaxed fit. Choose a size with 5-10 cm / 2-4″ positive ease on the chest. All measurements provided are from the finished garment. I am wearing size 7 with bust shaping option B.
