Maypole

Sizes given are finished measurements. You’ll need approximately 5 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 7, 8, 8,9, 10) hanks of the recommended yarn, shown in color “Steel Cut Oats”, for the different sizes.
Colorwork may be the most common addition to a yoke sweater pattern, but I’ve always been intrigued by using diminishing cables with these sweaters. In this yoked pullover, worked in a fuzzy, cozy wool-alpaca blend, cables are adorned with eyelets and get smaller and smaller the closer you get to the neckline.
The depth on this yoke is shorter than in traditional colorwork garments, allowing for you to choose a snugger fit (if you like) without losing freedom of movement.
