It’s a perfect shawl for lace beginners.
Easy to make and cozy to wear :-).
The shawl begins at the top center and is worked outwards to the lace border. The main body of the shawl is worked in Stockinette stitch. After completing the shawl’s main body, you will begin the leaf lace (which is fully charted and written out). Finally, you will work a simple lace border.

Size
One size: approx. 150 cm/60” wide and 75 cm/30” long at center spine.

Yarn
3 balls of Eden Cottage Yarns Whitfell Chunky (100% baby alpaca; 100m/109y per100g) or any other chunky weight yarn, which gives you the correct gauge.

Needles
6.5 mm/US #10 circular needle (100 cm/40” long).
8 mm/US #11 circular needle (any length) for BO only.

Other
3 stitch markers, tapestry needle for weaving, blocking pins.

Gauge
11 sts and 18 rows = 10 cm/4” in St st measured flat after wet blocking. The gauge isn’t crucial on this project, but differences will affect the finished size as well as the required yardage.
