Mavka Sweater was inspired by the book of Lesya Ukrainka “The Song Of The Forest” and named after the main character Mavka - the forest fairy.

The pullover is knit top-down starting with double folded neck, continuing with colorwork yoke, then separated for body and sleeves. Short rows at back video tutorial is included in the patten, as well as few more video tutorial about for the parts that may cause confusion for beginners.

You will need:
Yarn Lettlopi (aran/worsted weigh 100% Icelandic wool, 100m/50g) or other yarn you can achieve 18 s/ 10cm (4in) gauge with.

4(mm US6), 3.5 mm (US4), 3 mm (US2.5) circular needles for Magic Loop. Also shorter circular or double pointed sock needles in case you are not a fan of Magic Loop.

Gauge: 18 sts and 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm measured over swatch worked with 4,5 mm needles. Check gauge and adjust needle size if necessary.
