Matthias, the little mouse hero in Redwall, wore an oversized habit … this is my version which on a child is an oversized poncho (perfect as a blanket in the car, too) but it “fits” a woman with the hem falling right at finger-tip length.

This is a fun, easy mindless knitting project … knit in one piece from the back bottom, up and over the top and then the hood is added. It takes 6 skeins of the washable Grande and is a joy to wear!
