Like the sleepy little Florida key, Matecumbe is relaxing (to knit) and a breeze (to wear). The simple garter stitch body has a lace border that’s just interesting enough to keep your attention (but not so interesting you can’t watch a ball game or chat with friends at guild meetings while knitting). It is worked from side to side and shaped with short row wedges that keep it on your shoulders when you walk along the beach in the evening. Don’t forget the key lime pie for dessert!

NOTE: The pattern as written took totally for real ALL of two skeins of Fine. If using this yarn, it is recommended that you purchase three skeins to avoid everlasting misery.
