Mason the Bag
A free version is also available.
I love simplicity and I love the fact that one simple stitch can create an unique look. The stitch I have used is the double crochet. So this simple bag looks more complicated than it is! It uses just double crochet and chain stitches with striping. Simples! These are the things I teach on my Learn to Crochet Workshop or if you can’t get to Skipton then click on the link below for my How To Videos.
YARN
One 100g ball each of Superchunky weight yarn in shade A, shade B and shade C.
The bag used 67m of the 100g ball.
SUGGESTED CROCHET HOOK
7mm.
GAUGE (tension)
12 double crochet (and chain space) and 11 rows to 10cm square over pattern using 7mm hook.
It is important to obtain gauge so do swatch and change your needle size to achieve the correct gauge if you need to.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
26cm x 40cm.
